this was becoming my favorite out of all the zero carb powder sugars. it sticks much better to baked goods than the others and doesn’t have that cooling/aftertaste some have.
i mainly use this for coating baked goods (mostly for my keto steamed baked donut holes) and sometimes i use it to make sweet whipped cream. Unlike the regular purecane sugar, this here powder version DOES raise my BG by 20ish points within 30 mins after eating 10 donut holes that do not raise my BG by more than 5ish when eating without this powder on it. my guess is because it sadly contains corn starch in it, so if you are on Keto for ‘therapeutic’ reasons like i am, this powdered sugar may up your BG & temporarily lower your ketone levels as well.. Personally i’ve decide once i run out, am going to back to coating my donut holes with the regular sugar that was just as yummy, if not better for dipping in coffee..
