Apple Cider Whiskey Sour

This cocktail is apple-ling all year long, so enjoy it at your next event or as a tasty after-dinner dessert!

Ingredients
Cinnamon Simple Syrup Ingredients:
- ¾ cup water
- ¾ cup Purecane™ Baking Sweetener
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Apple Cider Whiskey Sour Ingredients:
- 3 oz apple cider
- 2 oz whiskey
- ½ oz cinnamon simple syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
- Optional: cinnamon stick for garnishing
Directions
- Combine all simple syrup ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for a few minutes or until the sweetener dissolves completely. Remove the cinnamon sticks and let cool. (Tip: Simple syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days in an airtight container).
- Once the simple syrup has cooled, combine the apple cider, whiskey, lemon juice, and syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish cocktail cinnamon stick and serve.
- Enjoy!
