This cocktail is apple-ling all year long, so enjoy it at your next event or as a tasty after-dinner dessert!

Cinnamon Simple Syrup Ingredients:

  • 3 oz apple cider 
  • 2 oz whiskey
  • ½ oz cinnamon simple syrup
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • Optional: cinnamon stick for garnishing


Apple Cider Whiskey Sour Recipe - Reduced Sugar


  1. Combine all simple syrup ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for a few minutes or until the sweetener dissolves completely. Remove the cinnamon sticks and let cool. (Tip: Simple syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days in an airtight container).
  2. Once the simple syrup has cooled, combine the apple cider, whiskey, lemon juice, and syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. 
  3. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
  4. Garnish cocktail cinnamon stick and serve.
  5. Enjoy!
