No Sugar Added Cranberry Sauce

Thanksgiving is a time of sharing and caring for one another. What better way to share than to bring a classic fruit-forward side dish sans all that unnecessary sugar! Thanksgiving side dishes are the ones we all can't wait to eat. Well, we have the perfect zesty sauce that will not only taste amazing but leave you and your close ones feeling guilt-free with zero-calorie sweetener, but with all the flavor of real sugar!

Low Sugar Cranberry Sauce Recipe


  1. Start by zesting a ½ of your orange rind into a small bowl, set aside.
  2. Then in a medium-sized saucepan, combine 6 ounces of cranberries, Purecane™ zero-calorie Baking Sweetener, zest of orange, and water over low heat, stirring occasionally or until sweetener dissolves and cranberries are soft. (about 10 minutes). 
  3. Then increase heat to medium and cook until cranberries burst (about 10 minutes). Next, reduce your heat to low and stir in the remaining cranberries. Option to add more sweetener for a sweeter taste. 
  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool at room temperature before serving fully.
  5. Option to add leftover orange peel for garnish.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
