Homemade Orange Liqueur Margarita

Celebrate National Margarita Day with our homemade, no sugar added classic cocktail inspired by Kris Bordessa’s margarita! Orange liqueur is what makes or breaks a great margarita, but the amount of sugar is less than fab. Switch it up with our Purecane approved version, where the only sugar comes naturally from the orange! Sip, sip, HOORAY!

  2. Add in fresh orange juice and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside to cool to room temperature.
  4. Add vodka to your cooled syrup mixture and set aside. You can also transfer to a mason jar for easy refrigeration.

  6. Run a lime wedge around the rim of 2 glasses and dip rims into Purecane™ Spoonable Canister. Set aside.
  7. Combine the tequila, Purecane™ Orange Liqueur, and lime juice in a shaker. Fill with ice and shake until chilled.
