Mermaid Smoothie Recipe for Low Sugar Diets

Mermaid Smoothie

This vegan and gluten-free smoothie looks so pretty you almost won’t want to drink it.


  • 1 banana
  • ½ avocado 
  • ½ tsp spirulina powder 
  • 1 cup blueberries 
  • 1-2 Purecane™ Individual Packets (depending on preference) 
  • 8 ozs Unsweetened milk of choice (use an unsweetened milk alternative to make it vegan!) 
  • 1 tsp culinary matcha powder (optional) 
  • Blackberries to garnish (optional)
  • Starfruit to garnish (optional)

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth. 
  2. Optional: add in matcha powder for a healthy, antioxidant rich caffeine boost.
  3. Optional: garnish with fresh fruit, such as starfruit, frozen blueberries, or blackberries.
  4. Enjoy!
